Position Technologies, Inc. initial services included the design and development of commercial websites. In 1999 PositionTech worked with a team of engineers at Inktomi to design and develop the first Paid Inclusion Program, which helped to get websites crawled and indexed. Inktomi, which was later acquired by Yahoo!, is credited with a number of innovations that remain as foundations for today’s search engines. PositionTech continues to host a number of these services today in collaboration with Yahoo. Most recently, PositionTech launched a Self Serve version of Yahoo! Search Submit Pro expanding the reach of the product to small to mid-sized businesses. PositionTech expanded their Search Marketing Services to offer SEO consulting and PPC Management, making them a leading provider of Search Engine Marketing Solutions.
