Pubcon New Orleans 2014 To Feature Help A Reporter Out’s Peter Shankman
We’re excited to welcome author and angel investor Peter Shankman, principal and co-founder atglobal consultancy Shankman | Honig and founder of Help A Reporter Out (HARO), who will present a major keynote address at next month’s Pubcon New Orleans 2014, the premier social media and optimization conference.

In 2010, less than three years after Shankman started HARO in his apartment, it was acquired by Vocus, Inc.
Shankman is also a noted angel investor, specializing in very early stage technology, marketing, advertising, and social media companies — one of the many types of firms always well-represented at Pubcon conferences, recently named both a Forbes “Must-Attend Conference for Entrepreneurs,” and an Inc. “Conference That Will Help Your Business Grow This Year.”

In 2011, Shankman composed a Tweet that was voted as one of the Top Ten Tweets of the year by Twitter and ABC News, out of more than 120 billion tweets sent.
