Pubcon, the premier social media and optimization conference, is thrilled to feature Joanna Lord,vice president of growth marketing at social media search engine optimization (SEO) monitoring firm SEOmoz, during Pubcon New Orleans 2013 on April 22 – 25 at the New Orleans Convention Center.
Noted online marketer Lord — a highly-rated speaker at Pubcon and other conferences — handles SEOmoz’s paid search, Facebook and Twitter advertising, affiliate marketing, retargeting, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and analytics programs, and manages the firm’s customer satisfaction team.
During Pubcon New Orleans 2013 Lord will speak about pay-per-click (PPC) and CRO forecasting in a Tuesday session moderated by High Rankings chief executive Jill Whalen, which will also feature co-panelists Shawn Livengood, director of search marketing at Home Improvement Leads, and Ira Kates, account manager and Maxus team lead at Maxus Canada. Lord’s session will explore methods for creating successful online ads that get strong conversion rates, and how best to forecast results when using such techniques.
Lord will also be sharing her social media and conversion wisdom on an expert Wednesday panelwhen she takes the stage for one of Pubcon’s popular live interactive website review sessions, "Interactive Site Review: Focus on Conversion." An especially strong lineup for the site review session will see Lord joined by noted conversion innovator Tim Ash, chief executive at SiteTuners.com, Kate Oneill, founder and chief executive at [meta]marketer, and Khalid Saleh, president and co-Founder at Invesp.
Lord, who will be taking part in at least her ninth Pubcon event, sees Pubcon as a benchmark of sorts. “Pubcon Las Vegas 2012 was my seventh Pubcon,” Lord noted late last year. “Between Vegas, Austin, Dallas, and Hawaii I have literally wandered the U.S. to make sure I didn’t miss this show.
