Google+’s Danny Bernstein To Keynote Pubcon New Orleans 2014
Pubcon New Orleans 2014, the premier social media and optimization conference, is happy to announce a keynote presentation by Danny Bernstein of Google+ at the New Orleans ConventionCenter in The Big Easy, one of the most exciting cities in the world.
Bernstein is the head of product partnerships for Platform at Google, leading a team responsible for product-enabling partnerships that drive adoption of Google platforms by developers and partners. Bernstein will be making his first appearance at Pubcon, a Forbes "must-attend" conference.
Bernstein joined Google when the firm acquired Meebo in June, 2012. Bernstein was Meebo’s first business hire, and oversaw business and publisher development. Bernstein has led teams that grew the company’s reach to 250 million worldwide unique visitors, andforged partnerships with traditional media companies including CBS, Hearst, NBC, and Time Inc.
Bernstein’s major product focus areas include the Google+ platform, Gmail, Knowledge/Search, Google Now, and other emerging Google platforms.
“The intersection of social platforms and audience development remains a key topic for publishers in 2014,” Bernstein said. “Engaging with the audience at Pubcon provides Google with an opportunity to share our point of view on these important topics, and ideally inform our product roadmap in the process,” Bernstein added.
