Thai Tran is the Product Manager for Google Maps and Local Search, where he is focusing on delivering the best user experience for finding local information.Previously, Tran was cofounder and CTO of VivaSmart, Inc., a developer of shopping search technology which was acquired by Yahoo! in 2000. At Yahoo!, Tran was a tech lead on the Shopping, Travel, and Search teams. Tran holds a B.S. and a M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University.
