Shawn Rorick is the Director of Marketing for Cirque du Soleil’s Resident Show Division in North America. He received double Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and Business Management with an Associate’s degree in Aviation Flight and Aeronautics from Southern Illinois University. His interests focus on direct marketing and branding innovations via emerging media. After moving to Las Vegas in the mid 90s, Shawn found early opportunities in web development and digital formats that led him to specialize in multiple online marketing practices for the past 12 years. Prior to Cirque du Soleil, he worked for Cox Interactive Media in Acquisition Management and as Director of Internet Marketing for MGM MIRAGE Resorts, building tactical strategies within internal departments to ensure revenue and audience goals. Shawn is Chairman of the Las Vegas Interactive Marketing Association (LVIMA) and the winner of multiple online creative applications and campaign awards.
