Shawn Rorick is a leading interactive marketing and media professional based in Las Vegas, spanning over 14 years of experience with well-known brands in hospitality, entertainment and technology. He is the authoer of "Emerging Marketer" and founder and Chairman of the Las Vegas Interactive Marketing Association and provides consulting services to many leaders in the digital space. He received double Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and Business Management with additional degrees in Aeronautics from Southern Illinois University. His interests focus on direct marketing and branding innovations within interactive media. After moving to Las Vegas in the mid 90s, Shawn found early opportunities in web development and digital formats that led him to specialize in multiple online marketing practices. Former company positions held include the Director of Marketing for Cirque du Soleil, Online Acquisition Management for Cox Interactive and Director of Internet Marketing for MGM MIRAGE Resorts, building tactical strategies within internal departments to ensure revenue and audience goals. Shawn is also the winner of multiple online development awards and is sought after for his vision and leadership in emerging media / next-generation advertising.
