Shakil Khan (Shak) is head of special projects at Path where he focuses on growth and international affairs. Shak's unique global perspective and his influential network along with his passion for user behavior and conversion is an invaluable addition to Path's team.
Prior to Path, Shak spent the last four years as head of special projects at Spotify and is currently an advisor to founder and CEO Daniel Ek. As a self proclaimed "start-up guy", Shak has had a number of online businesses in the UK since 2000 and was part of the founding team at buy.at which was acquired by AOL.
Shak joined Webmasterworld in 2002 and founded Forum 78, the Google Adwords forum.
Shak has done extensive volunteer work as an ambassador for charity: water, having helped raise millions of dollars for clean and safe drinking water.
Having lived in China, Shak speaks Chinese (as well as English, Urdu, Punjabi, Danish) and currently divides his time between London, San Francisco and airport lounges.
