Shahid Awan is the Global Director of SEO for hotels.com (An Expedia Inc Company). At hotels.com, Shahid heads up the global strategy for SEO which includes managing the localized strategies for NA, EMEA, APAC and LATAM. Shahid also manages a internal team of SEOs and agencies around the globe.

Prior to hotels.com, Shahid headed up SEO for many leading agencies working with clients on a global scale including Avis, Jaguar, HSBC, Barclays and KFC to name a few.

Shahid is a seasoned SEO with experience from all sides of the SEO Spectrum coming from a web development background and evolving into SEO around 2004. He's worked both agency and client side dealing with enterprise and localized clients.
