Ron Belanger is the Senior Director of Channel Strategy and Development at Yahoo! Search Marketing and joined the company in September 2005. His role is to serve as an expert resource for clients and agencies looking to maximize the efficiency of their performance marketing infrastructure, and effectively incorporate search marketing into their overall marketing mix.
Prior to joining Yahoo! Search Marketing, Ron served as Vice President of Search and Affiliate Marketing for Carat Interactive, an interactive advertising agency. While at Carat, he developed marketing strategies for more than twenty top-tier clients, including Hyatt Hotels, America Online, Microsoft Office Live Meeting, Radio Shack, Hyundai and Kodak. Ron also co-authored the industry's premier course on Search Marketing in conjunction with iMedia Learning. Prior to Carat, he served in various positions for Inceptor, FairMarket, and HSRI.
Ron received his BA from Clark University and is currently a candidate for an MBA from McCallum Graduate School of Business, Bentley College.
