FlyerTalk.com

Referred to by The Wall Street Journal as "...the most influential frequent flyer in America," Randy began publishing frequent flyer miles information online in 1987 with both NewsNet and CompuServe. In 1994 he moved much of his online content to the fledging AOL and in 1995 began launching Web sites specifically for the business traveler/frequent flyer. FlyerTalk.com was launched in 1998 and today hosts nearly 13 million posts devoted to the topics of frequent flyer miles and business travel. He is credited with creating the concept of “official lurkers” in the travel space, as he invited representatives from travel companies to extend their customer service to where their frequent flyer members were gathering on the Internet. Today Randy owns some 97 URLs devoted to topics within the travel space.

He is a regular speaker at business travel seminars and conferences around the world, and is often called upon by the industry for his advice about the future of frequent flyer programs and in particular, the impact of social media on the frequent flyer.
