Matthew has been in the online advertising and optimization space for the past five years. As an SEM, web analytics practitioner, and frequent speaker at industry events, he is a customer advocate within Google and promotes of the use of metrics tools and measurement strategies externally. Previously in his roles as account strategist, product specialist, and metrics consultant at Google, Matt worked with Fortune 1000 clients to promote the adoption and usage of Google Analytics. He also has a history developing successful keyword based campaigns for high profile entertainment clients. Before joining Google, Matt was a campaign manager for GameSpy Industries, where he managed display advertising across one of the largest video game networks on the web. Matt graduated Cum Laude from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2003 with dual concentrations in Management Information Systems & Marketing.
