PubCon Dallas 2010 Speaker Biographies

Laura Lippay is the Director of Technical Marketing for Yahoo! Media, where she and her team are responsible for designing strategies to enhance visibility in Search and social spaces online for dozens of the top internet properties in their verticals, and working with internal product teams to act on them.

Laura has been a speaker at Searchfest, Search Marketing Expo, Search Engine Strategies, Pubcon, and Online Marketing Summit conferences, in addition to conducting regular social media and SEO training and events at Yahoo!

Prior to working at Yahoo!, Laura was the SEO specialist at CNET Networks, where she helped develop the in-house SEO program. Previous to that, Laura was Manager of Interactive Media (loosely subtitled The Goddess of Chaos and Harmony) at The Linus Group, a Bay Area marketing firm. And like many people in the SEO space, Laura has an interesting backstory, in which she traveled the country as a performer for The Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus.
