Laura Dansbury is the SEO manager for CafePress, the leader in user-generated Commerce offering sellers turnkey e-commerce services to independently create and sell a wide variety of products, and offering buyers unique merchandise across virtually every topic. Helping searchers and search engines find the right product in the over 200 million products at CafePress is her challenge. The site grows at thousands of new pages per day and contains content created almost exclusively by users. Laura was the world-wide on-site search program manager for HP.com, providing search functionality and solutions for Hewlett-Packard's consumer, business, and enterprise customers. She led the strategic direction, design, and standards for on-site search at HP.com. Prior to joining HP, Laura pioneered Web applications at the Centers for Disease Control, ultimately serving as the chairperson of the CDC.gov content team. She managed several Web sites for CDC. She has 15 years experience in Web and graphical information display and a BS in applied psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
