John Berryhill

Dr. John Berryhill's academic background is in electrical engineering, and he was admitted to practice in patent matters before the USPTO in 1992. Dr. Berryhill recently began solo practice to focus primarily on internet legal issues, after 13 years with an intellectual property boutique firm in Philadelphia. Dr. Berryhill has represented plaintiffs and defendants in patent, copyright, and trademark matters, including dozens of disputes under the ICANN Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy, and has served on several ICANN working groups and task forces. Currently a voting member of the ICANN Registar's Constituency, Dr. Berryhill has extensive experience in helping domain registrants and registrars navigate the arcane world of internet politics, and counseling clients on defending their rights in cyberspace.
