Optiem Jeffrey K. Rohrs


As President of Optiem, Jeffrey K. Rohrs develops interactive marketing strategies for clients that include American Greetings, Sherwin-Williams, Things Remembered,, and Calphalon. His “Email Audit” for Things Remembered won the “2004 Agency Email Program of the Year” award from ExactTarget. Most recently, Jeff was part of the Optiem team that garnered “2006 Website MVP” honors from Ektron for the Cuyahoga County Public Library Website.

Jeff is well-versed in search engine marketing law, and he is a long-time moderator & speaker on legal issues at Incisive Media's Search Engine Strategies Conferences held in San Jose, Chicago, London, and New York City. In April 2006, Jeff served as a panelist at Marketing Sherpa's inaugural Email Marketing Summit. Frequently sought for comment on interactive marketing issues, Jeff has been quoted (and occasionally misquoted) in Advertising Age, Business Week,, Marketing Sherpa, Target Marketing, ClickZ, The Plain Dealer, and Crain's Business. Jeff received his J.D. and Masters in Mass Communication from Boston University. His undergraduate degree is from Miami University where he currently serves on the Advisory Board for the school's Interactive Media Studies Program.
