Janes has more than two decades of business strategy and advertising experience. He joined Pulse 360 from AOL where he was most recently responsible for developing and selling strategic marketing programs for top advertisers, including Verizon Wireless and the Coca-Cola Company. Previously, Janes worked in the sales development team at AOL, creating the business strategy for advertising sales in programming areas including news, sports and weather, with partners such as CNN and TIME. Janes began his online career in 1995 with the National Football League, where he was part of the launch team for the first major professional sports Web site, NFL.com, as well executed some of the first online sports marketing programs. Janes has also held sales management positions at Showtime Networks and Sportvision, Inc., a sports media technology company that invented the virtual first down line for football broadcasts.
