Dixon is the Marketing Director of MajesticSEO – who have a link building tool which has spidered well over a trillion backlinks to analyse factors like anchor text and attributes. He is also a founding Director of Receptional, a leading UK Internet Marketing Consultancy. Dixon has been involved in running businesses since 1988 and has been involved in running and marketing online businesses since 1997.Dixon Jones has been a regular speaker on internet search and marketing for many years at conferences all over the world including Search Engine Strategies, PubCON, IMC, Internet World and Ad:Tech. He is a moderator at Webmasterworld where he manages the Tracking and Logging forum and the Bing and Microsoft Search forums.
Commercially, he has helped many large brands develop their online marketing presence, including heavily regulated industries like banking and pharmaceuticals.
He trained in Maths and Management studies at Brunel University and Henley Management College. Prior to his involvement in the Internet, Dixon ran a successful corporate hospitality business specializing in murder mystery events and team building games. He still runs an online murder mystery games business in his spare time. He is married with two children.
