Alison Driscoll has been interested in advertising and marketing since the age of 7, with agency experience as a web copywriter and social media consultant since 2005. She has worked with a wide variety of clients ranging from small, local businesses to international hotel chains. She currently works as an interactive copywriter and social media strategist at Digitas in Boston while running her own social media consultancy.

Alison enjoys writing about anything and everything, but especially geek fashion, lip gloss and cool new stuff online. She dispenses humor and advice about copywriting, Facebook, internet marketing and social media news on her blog, AlisonDriscoll.com.

Alison holds a Bachelors of Science in Advertising from Boston University’s College of Communications and is a frequent contributor to the Mashable social media blog. A self-proclaimed Facebook fanatic, Alison has often been featured on radio interviews and guest lectures as a social media expert. She spends her days explaining Facebook and Twitter to clients and colleagues while occasionally shopping online.
