Adam decided to take a break from the cubicle when he turned 36 and escape to ski for 2 months at Snowbird Ski Resort in Utah. Two months at Snowbird turned into 6 months on the road when instead of heading back to Philadelphia he took a detour to Mammoth Mountain (in Mammoth Lakes, CA) for another 2 months and then spent 2 months in the US National Parks including extended periods in Yosemite, Grand Teton and Yellowstone. details those adventures while a little affiliate marketing pays the bills. The adventures will continue for another year in Ski Anything v.2 unless a really, Really, REALLY cool opportunity comes along.

While most recently in the cubicle, Adam was the director of search engine and affiliate marketing at the online marketing and advertising agency, NetPlus Marketing Inc., based in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. During the 9 years there he led the search team to develop the strategy, implement and optimize millions of dollars in search campaigns to increase sales and leads, build brand awareness, integrate with traditional media and crisis management campaigns. Clients included ConAgra, Charming Shoppes, Toll Brothers, Davidís Bridal, Independence Blue Cross, Nature Made and a variety of pharmaceutical brands.

Adam has spoken at a variety of industry conferences including Search Engine Strategies, the WebmasterWorld PubCon, Search Marketing Expo and eMarketing Association Events.

Adam has specialized in the Internet and online marketing industry since 1996 when he served as an information architect and later marketing coordinator of interactive design firm Halo Technologies Limited.

Following several years at Halo, Adam served as the online marketing coordinator at the conversion rate marketing specialist firm, Future Now. While there, he was responsible for online marketing and promotion of client websites and publicizing the award-winning newsletter GrokDotCom.

Adam earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 1997. He is an avid skier, camper, mountain biker and outdoor enthusiast, which stems from his experiences that led to the achievement of Eagle Scout in 1992. He is a certified level 1 member of Professional Ski Instructors of America and has safely introduced thousands of people to the exhilaration of alpine skiing.
