Curtis is a 16 year veteran of the Internet and a recognized leader in the Internet, hosting, ecommerce and search marketing industry and speaks regularly at related conferences on these areas of expertise.
Since the early 1990s, Curtis has been involved in the evolution of the Internet, working first as a consultant with Federal government, then in 1993, moving on to the startup of one of the first ISPs. After selling Helix Internet, he worked with online access providers and telecommunication companies such as Telus, Rogers, Sprint, AT&T, GroupTelecom and most recently, he was Sr. VP with Superb Internet, one of the oldest hosting companies.In addition to his role as RankSense’s CSMO, Curtis is the CEO of Sharksfly Marketing Solutions, providing search & social media marketing solutions, as well as other related market services to clients wishing to optimize their marketing strategies, especially online. Curtis holds a Bachelors of Commerce from the University of Alberta and did his Post Graduate work in Marketing and Business Law at the University of Calgary.
